Lopar

Lopar is located on the island of Rab, which is part of the Kvarner Archipelago. It is 110 km away from Rijeka, the region’s administrative centre, and 190 km from Zagreb. Lopar can be reached by ferry from Jablanac to Mišnjak within about ten minutes. Guests are ever more interested in taking the ferry from Valbiska (on the island of Krk) to Lopar, due to its vicinity to Rijeka and the airport, as well as a very attractive 90 minutes drive. The first thing to see, if one is coming by car from the direction of the town of Rab, is the monument in honour of St. Marinus, stonemason and founder of the Republic of San Marino, who was born in Lopar in the 4th century A.D. In his honour, the hotel resort and the auto-camp bear the name “San Marino”. Lopar is the ideal place to spend your holiday, as its diversity, natural beauties and tourist offer will satisfy even the most demanding guest. There are many beautiful sandy beaches (22 altogether). Three of them are nudist beaches (Ciganka and Sahara, where nudist bathing is allowed, and Stolac beach, which is reserved exclusively for nudists). You can reach the above-mentioned beaches on foot, by car, boat or taxi boat from the small port of San Marino. In Lopar there are also many sports and excursion possibilities (tennis, mini-golf, football, basketball, beach volleyball, jet-skiing, kayaking, day trips by boat, etc.), as well as entertainment for children (children's playgrounds, a pirate ship, a slow train, swings, slides, trampolines, an amusement park, animation programmes, etc.).

Apart from an exceptionally good gastronomic offer, which can be enjoyed in numerous restaurants and taverns, Lopar also hosts numerous events during the tourist season (fishing festivals, a samba festival, the festival of sand sculptures, the Lopar Night). There are also several archaeological sites in Lopar, which can be visited free of charge with an expert tourist guide.

Apartments

Dear guests, we are located in the village of Lopar, surrounded by the quietness of nature. For more than 30 years we have been renting holiday homes. We offer apartments for 2 and 4 persons. All apartments are equipped with air conditioning, SAT/TV (Astra + Hotbird) and a WIFI hotspot. In front of the apartments there are parking places and, in the garden, right next to the house, there is an outdoor grill where you can prepare meat and fish dishes, and a table with chairs. We try to improve our offer every year to the satisfaction of our dear guests. The apartments are very well situated: the sea and the paradise beach are 200m away and the centre of Rab is about 12km away. A grocery shop is 300m away and the nearest restaurant is 150m away.
